Privacy policy

How we process the data you send us through the contact form.

Who processes the data

The data controller is BMR Ltd., UIC 201607432, address: ул. „Света София“ 8, ет. 3, София 1000 (8 Sveta Sofia St., floor 3, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria). Contact us at: contact@bmr-eu.com.

What data we collect

Through the contact form we collect your name, organisation, position, phone number, email address, chosen topic and the text of your message. Organisation, position and phone number are optional. Together with the enquiry we also receive the IP address it was sent from and the time of sending. Providing the data is voluntary, but the fields marked with an asterisk are needed so that we can reply to you. We do not collect any other data about you through the website.

Purpose of processing

We use the data to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote if you have asked for one. The IP address is used to protect the form against abuse and to limit the number of enquiries. We do not use the data for any other purpose.

Legal basis

  • Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) – taking steps at your request before entering into a contract;
  • Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the form against abuse.

How the data is stored

The form data is sent by email to BMR Ltd. It is not stored in a database on the website. We keep it for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. To limit the number of enquiries from the same IP address, the website records a pseudonymised (hashed) form of the address and the times of the most recent successfully sent enquiries in a temporary file on the server.

The form fields (name, email, phone, message) that you fill in are stored temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage and are cleared when the page is reloaded or when you open the thank-you page.

Data transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union. The website does not load fonts, scripts or other resources from external services.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@bmr-eu.com – we will answer your request within the period set by law.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg, opens in a new tab).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies and does not use any tools for analysing or tracking visitors. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.

External links

The contact page contains an “Open in Google Maps” link, and this policy contains a link to the website of the Commission for Personal Data Protection. They lead to external websites, which receive data about your visit only if you open the link.
